Homebase required a floor standing sign that could be moved around easily, but that was very stable and wind resistant, as it was destined to stand in the entrance doorways of their stores. Using our expertise in wind resistant signs, our design team created a solution which utilised a fabricated steel framework that fitted in to our water filled ‘Stormforce’ base, specially moulded in Homebase green. The unit was rigorously tested by us in a wind tunnel at the University of Southampton to ensure it met Homebase’s stringent requirements.
